Arkadiusz Guzik led the offence with two goals and one assist. In their first-ever world tournament, the British team finished 10th but gained a lot of valuable experience along the way. |

Canada East and USA Blue fought hard for every inch of the floor over 45 minutes, but the Canadian team was a bit better and won the game 4-0. |

The Slovaks scored early and led 2-0 late before a late American goal set up a dramatic finish. The Slovaks held on, however, to claim the bronze medal. |
1.7.2018 | Host Czechs win women´s tournament!CZE - CAN 4:1, 34.kolo | | Derek O´Brien The title game between the national teams of the host Czech Republic and Canada was the climax of the women´s Junior World Cup tournament. Although the both teams adopted a very attractive, fast-paced and effective style of play, neither of them were able to break through the awesomely performing goalies for a long time. However, the Czech scored three power-play goals in the second period, then played solid defence to protect their lead and beat Canada 4-1, which brought them the gold medals! The Czechs didn´t lose a single game in the tournament. |
