The tournament starts on Thursday, 28 June, the same day as the U16 boys´ tournament. However, with only five teams competing in the women´s tournament, each team will play once against the four other teams. The participants include the Czech Republic, Slovakia, USA, Canada and Great Britain. After the round-robin portion of the tournament is complete, the teams will compete for final placement.
The team that finishes fifth in the round robin will not play on the final day. The teams finishing third and fourth will play for the bronze medal, and finally the top two teams will face off in the final for gold and silver. All games of the women´s tournament will be played in Přerov. Detailed tournament schedule
